The Wally World Wide Show

I'm Wally Harding, I live, with my partner Sue, also fondly known as the back-up crew, in Peterborough, which is in an area of the UK known as East Anglia.

Peterborough is situated about 90 miles north of London and about 30 miles from the university city of Cambridge.

I joined the team at ACB Radio Interactive in March 2002, but was an avid listener since ACB Radio Interactive first took to the internet.

Like all the presenters on ACBRI, I am a volunteer and earn my living as a technical support officer, access technology specialist and trainer for the RNIB here in Peterborough. I've worked for the RNIB for 13 years.

Prier to that, I was a professional musician for 15 years, playing pedal steel guitar in a country band, then after the group disbanded, I continued to play pedal steel and keyboard as part of a duo and also as a session musician for recording studeos.

When my partner, my brother, in the duo retired I worked as a solo act, using a sequencer to produce backing tracks to which I added the keyboard parts and vocals. This enabled me to sound like a twelve piece band all on my own.

My favourite style of music is country, but I generally enjoy all styles, with the exception of heavy rock, punk and opra.

I enjoy travelling, good food and wine, new gadgets and a fine cigar

The Wally World Wide show, the WWW show, can be heard each friday from 18:00 to 20:00 UTC.
